FAQ

How are the points in this Hall of Fame calculated?

Points will be calculated by taking the total number of Live Mathletics points divided by the total number of registered students in the school.

This is to allow for fair competition between schools of different sizes.

For example, a school of 200 registered students scores a total of 1,000,000 points during the competition. Their league table ranking would be based on an average of 5,000 points per student.

* Points earned through any other Mathletics activities are NOT included in the competition points.

Why can’t I see my class on the Leaderboard?

To see if your classes’ results are counted and included in the Hall of Fame, make sure to verify your email address with Mathletics.

How to verify your email address?

  1. Check your inbox (including the junk folder) for an email from Mathletics. Click the link to verify.
  2. If you have yet to get an email, ask your Mathletics subscription coordinator or admin to re-send a verification email.
  3. To send the verification email, they click School Roll > Manage School Roll > Teachers.
  4. Then select the teachers and click the Send Verification Email button.
  5. Once you’ve received an email from Mathletics, click the link in the email to complete your verification.
What do I do if I'm having issues seeing the Leaderboard properly:

If you are having trouble seeing the latest update of the leaderboard, you may need to clear your cache.

Google Chrome:

  1. Go to the browser setting
  2. Select Privacy and Security
  3. Select Clear Browsing Data from the left-hand side
  4. Set the Time range set to All Time
  5. Check-mark Cookies and other site data and Cached images and file
  6. Select Clear Data.

Safari:

    1. Click on Safari on the top menu bar
    2. Click Preferences
    3. Click the Privacy tab and click Manage Website Data
    4. Click Remove all and Remove Now
    5. Go to the Safari menu on the top menu bar and select Quit to close Safari
    6. Save your changes.

Microsoft Edge for Windows 10

    1. Click the Tools menu (three dotted lines in the upper-right corner) and open the Setting menu.
    2. Click Privacy, Search and Services on the left-side menu
    3. Under the section Clear Browsing Data, Click Choose what to clear.
    4. Select Cookies and other site data and Cached images and files
    5. Click Clear Now.
    6. Close Microsoft Edge and completely for your changes to take effect.
