Giving Back Program

Supporting Children in Need

We’re Giving Back and providing Better Ways to Learn for students in challenging circumstances.

The team at 3P Learning has a passion for helping children with reading and mathematics. We know that reading and mathematics are skills that everyone needs and are critical for self-expression, employment and creating a prosperous life. 3P Learning is the company behind Mathletics, Reading Eggs and Mathseeds.

Our programs are used in schools and homes by millions of subscribers globally. However, we know that some children, due to a variety of reasons, including financial, simply can’t get access to our programs and the support they need for their reading and maths skills to flourish.

So, we created a Giving Back program to help more students to get subsidised access to our learning platforms. This will be achieved by awarding a series of subsidies or grants to organisations such as schools and charities who can show that access to our online learning platforms will make a big difference to children within their remit.

Towards the end of the disruptive school year in 2020, we embarked on a journey with the Smith Family (an Australian charity). The goal was to help Australian children from disadvantaged background with their education.

During this initiative, over 485 children from 285 families gained access to our programs. The results were amazing, with the children involved building up over 3500 hours of learning.

We’re delighted by the result and want to replicate it with other organisations.

That’s where you come in!

We would love to invite organisations such as schools and charities to apply for subsidies and grants through our Giving Back program – We want to provide disadvantaged children across the globe with access to literacy and numeracy support.

FAQs

What is the type of support granted?

Primarily we provide complimentary or subsidised licence subscriptions, usually for six to twelve months to the appropriate 3PL products (Reading Eggs, Mathseeds and Mathletics) to schools and organisations operating under challenging circumstances that would not be in a position to purchase the licenses themselves.

How to apply?

To apply for subsidised subscriptions to Mathletics, Reading Eggs and/or Mathseeds please complete the application below. We ask that you tell us your story and provide as much detail and information as possible and send it to giving.back@3plearning.com.

Applications will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by 3P Learning’s Giving Back Committee and approved by 3P Learning management .

Who can apply?

We consider applications from groups such as charities, schools and other Not-For-Profit Organisations. We are not accepting applications for subsidised subscriptions from individuals at this stage. The applicants must be in a position to be able to utilise online learning (facilities, equipment and access to the internet) and have a champion in place to drive the project.

How long does it take?

Once your application is submitted, please allow four weeks for consideration. During that time, we may request additional information or clarification on your application. Once again, we ask that you try to provide as much detail as possible in the beginning to help speed this process along.

How many grants will be allocated?

At this stage, we have not capped the number of subsidies and grants that we will be awarded for the 2022/2023 financial year, and worthy organisations are encouraged to apply as soon as possible.

Is my organisation eligible?

Yes! If your organisation fits the criteria above, you are free to apply from anywhere.

If we are successful in gaining support, what do we need to do to continue to have this support maintained?

Through 3P Learning’s communication with the ‘Project Champion’ on the requester’s end, several pre-defined criteria need to be met periodically, including providing feedback on the utilisation of the licenses.
