What is SOC 2 Type 1?
SOC 2 (System and Organization Controls 2) is an internationally recognised auditing standard developed by the American Institute of CPAs. It evaluates how organisations manage and protect customer data.
Type 1 attestation confirms that our security controls are properly designed and in place at a specific point in time. This independent assessment provides schools and educators with confidence that 3P Learning maintains rigorous data protection practices.
What does SOC 2 mean for student data protection?
For schools using our programs – Reading Eggs, Writing Legends, Mathseeds and Mathletics – this attestation offers additional assurance that student data is handled with the security and care it deserves. The attestation was completed by Sensiba, an accredited certification body.
