Some milestones deserve a proper celebration, and 10 years of partnership with Australian Islamic College of Sydney (AICS) is definitely one of them.
AICS has been using 3P Learning for more than a decade, and the way the school has embraced our programs is something we’re incredibly proud of.
Today, at this wonderfully diverse school, where families come from all over the world and many parents speak English as a second language at home, all 830 primary students use our literacy programs, supported by around 60 primary teachers using the resources across reading, writing and maths in their classrooms.
To mark such a significant partnership, we travelled to the school for a special assembly, where we were given a very warm welcome by our hosts for the day: Suzy Lal, Head of Primary School, and the school’s Principal, Mr Mohammed Riaaz Ali.
The 3P Learning team weren’t the only guests at AICS – Reggie, the Reading Eggs mascot, also made a guest appearance (and was a huge hit), and personally congratulated all 37 students from Kindergarten to Year 6, who were presented with awards on that day.

Thousands of students, one decade – a conversation with the Head of Primary
Before the assembly, we had a chance to sit down with Suzy to hear what a decade with our programs has looked like for their students and teachers.
She spoke about the ‘thousands and thousands of children’ who have benefited from 3P Learning programs over the years and shared the story of a student who couldn’t read at all and can now tackle big words. When Suzy asked him how he’d learnt, his answer was Reading Eggs.
She also touched on the school’s Year 3 and Year 5 NAPLAN results (‘When we compare the data with NAPLAN, [the 3P Learning programs] have made a big difference in our children’s performance. I have no issues with my literacy and numeracy’), noting that no students need support in writing (‘0% children need support in writing. Zero.’).
Here’s what she had to say. Click on the image below to open the video.

More of our conversation with Suzy
When you have someone as insightful as Suzy to speak with, one conversation is rarely enough. So we took the opportunity to ask her a few more questions.
AICS has used our programs for over ten years. What was behind the original decision, and why has it held up?
Our original decision was driven by a desire to provide students with high-quality digital literacy and numeracy resources that were engaging, curriculum-aligned and accessible both at school and at home.
More than a decade later, that decision continues to be validated. The platforms have consistently evolved to meet changing educational needs while maintaining their core strengths of engagement, accessibility, curriculum alignment and personalised learning.
How have our programs supported your teachers and reduced the time needed to plan, prepare and deliver learning?
The impact on teacher workload has been significant. Reading Eggs and Mathletics provide ready-made, high-quality resources aligned to curriculum outcomes, resulting in substantial savings in lesson preparation and administration time.
The platforms allow teachers to quickly assign tasks, monitor progress, and access meaningful data without having to create resources from scratch. This has reduced the need for internally developed worksheets and activities, freeing teachers to focus on analysing student progress and responding to individual learning needs.
Because the programs are easy to integrate into existing teaching programs, teachers can implement them seamlessly while maintaining consistency across classes and year levels. Ultimately, they allow our staff to spend more time supporting students and less time preparing resources.
What difference have our programs made to the way students engage with maths and literacy, and how has that influenced their confidence and progress?
The programs have had a very positive impact on student engagement. Students are highly motivated by the interactive nature of the activities, immediate feedback, rewards systems, and opportunities to track their own progress.
We have seen noticeable improvements in student confidence, particularly among students who may have previously lacked confidence in literacy or numeracy. The ability to work at an appropriate level means students experience success more frequently, which encourages them to persevere and take greater ownership of their learning.
For students requiring additional support, the platforms provide valuable opportunities for repetition and targeted practice. As a result, many students have demonstrated stronger foundational skills, increased confidence, and greater willingness to engage with learning tasks.

From a whole-school perspective, what value do our programs provide in terms of teacher time, resources and investment?
From a whole-school perspective, the value extends well beyond student outcomes. The programs provide significant efficiencies by reducing the time teachers spend sourcing, creating, and managing learning resources.
They have enabled us to maintain high-quality learning experiences across the school while reducing costs associated with developing additional resources. The reporting and tracking features also provide valuable insights into student progress, supporting data-informed decision-making.
Investing in quality digital learning platforms such as Reading Eggs and Mathletics ensures that students have access to engaging, evidence-based learning tools while allowing staff to utilise their time more effectively. The return on investment is reflected in both improved student outcomes and increased staff efficiency.
What would you tell another Head of School who is considering our programs?
The biggest benefit is that they simultaneously support students, teachers, and families. Students are engaged and motivated, teachers save considerable preparation time, and parents have confidence that learning at home aligns with classroom expectations.
If you had to sum up the impact on your school in one sentence, what would you say?
Reading Eggs, Mathletics, and Writing Legends have transformed learning at AICS by providing students with engaging, personalised, and high-quality literacy and numeracy experiences while giving teachers valuable time to focus on student growth and achievement.

Here’s to the next chapter
A big thank you to Suzy, Mr Ali and the whole AICS community for welcoming us so warmly and for ten years of trust in our programs. In an email after the visit, Suzy shared:
It was a pleasure to welcome your team to our school and share firsthand the positive impact that Reading Eggs and Mathletics are having on our students’ learning and engagement.
The pleasure was entirely ours. Congratulations on a fantastic milestone, and here’s to many more years of learning together.
