The ‘Dual Capacity-Building framework’ presents a framework for families and educators to partner together in establishing student success. Based on existing research and best practices, this framework is designed to act as a platform for the development of family engagement strategies, policies and programs that are linked to student achievement and school improvement.
The Obama administration makes fundamental changes to the ‘No Child Left behind: Elementary & Secondary Education’ (ESEA) Act. The core focus of the Act is to ensure every child is provided with a fair & equal opportunity to receive a high-quality education. With a new goal that all students graduate from high school prepared for college and a career by 2020.
A recent independent academic study of more than 8,000 schools, looking into the impact of Mathletics on NAPLAN results, found a significant advantage in schools using Mathletics. Key findings show; that schools using Mathletics have performed consistently higher in NAPLAN, across Years 3, 5, 7 & 9 since 2008 – by up to 6.7%. The study also demonstrated that schools with longer-term usage (>2 years) saw an even greater jump in their results.
