Minimum Requirements – Windows PC & Mac

  • Windows XP SP3* (Windows 7+ recommended), Mac OS X 10.7 (or higher). 1GB of RAM minimum (for best experience we recommend 2GB or higher of RAM)

  • Supported web browsers – Internet Explorer 10 or higher (note that Microsoft Edge is not supported), Firefox with the Unity plugin installed, Chrome (uses WebGL) or Safari (uses WebGL).

  • Minimum usable screen resolution between 1280×800 to 2560×1440

  • Install Unity3D web player for browsers (version 4.2+).

  • Allow downloading of MIME type for unity3d at proxy or firewall application/vnd.unity

  • Maximum object size in proxy or firewall to be at least 10MB

  • Allow file extension .unity3d

Whitelisting IP Ranges & Domains

In order to provide the best experience to the millions of users around the world, 3P Learning programs use a variety of IP ranges and domains. If you are accessing via a network, or school-based system, you may need to update your school’s proxy/content filtering systems to allow access to IntoScience.

iOS devices

  • Available as a free download from the iPad AppStore (IntoScience subscription required to log in).

  • Compatible with iPad2 and newer devices. This includes the iPad mini and iPad Air.

  • Standard definition (1024 x 768) and Retina (2048 x 1536) displays are supported.

  • Requires iOS 5.1 or higher

  • Requires at least 541MB for installation.

Android devices

IntoScience is not currently accessible on Android mobile devices. Watch this space for future updates.

Windows 10

IntoScience is accessible on Windows 8, 10 and RT devices via the dedicated free IntoScience app, available from the Windows app store.
