The practice period of the 2010 European Schools Maths Challenge may have only just begun, but we have already received word of a star performer over at the British International School Ljubljana. Yashaswi R has achieved some fantastic high scores in the Live Mathletics part of the program…

level 1 – 121 questions

level 2 – 90 questions

level 3 – 102 questions

level 4 –  56 questions

level 5 – 34 questions

WOW! That’s over two questions a second on Level 1!! You must have sore fingers, Yashaswi! Iain Garioch, deputy headteacher at the school, said “we have a some dedicated students here who are very fired up about their mathematics, courtesy of the World Maths Day and the opportunity to challenge others with the live Mathletics.  They are certainly looking forward to the European Schools Maths Challenge.”

I wonder where Yashaswi will appear on the Hall of Fame when it goes live on 2nd May? Can anyone beat his impressive top scores? Do let us know by posting a comment below…
