Mathletics has won the prestigious 2009 BETT education awards at a ceremony in London.
The annual BETT Awards are the standard by which the international education industry can recognise and reward the world’s best educational technologies. Richard Joslin, exhibition director at Emap comments: “With so many outstanding entries this year, winning a BETT Award is truly a mark of excellence in ICT.”
Mathletics has opened up the world to students, with live competition between students all over the globe: from Sydney to Singapore, Senegal to Saudi Arabia and Saskatchewan to the Seychelles.
Tim Power, Chief Executive Officer of 3P Learning, says “Mathletics has an X factor, which sparks engagement and enjoyment of maths and translates this into better results. Over 99% of students master maths concepts on Mathletics in under 20 minutes regardless of their socio-economic background. It’s become the way you do maths.”
