Mathletics is truly a global community and the Middle East is at the centre of exciting new developments with the program.

2011 has been seen the launch of a hugely significant new partnership between the Mathletics team and Saudi Aramco, one of the world’s largest companies, based in Saudi Arabia. Working together with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Ministry of Education, the four-year initiative will bring the Mathletics program to over 350,000 students in schools right across the country with the aim of raising standards and engagement in maths.

The project also includes the complete development of a fully Arabic language version of Mathletics – the first time the program has been used outside of the English medium.

The first of the three regional launches, in Jeddah, took place this month with dozens of members of the Ministry of Education and local education leaders attending a gala launch event and two-day training seminar headed up by Mr. Abdullah Al-Ahmery and Mr Sami Musalli, from the Mathletics Project team at Saudi Aramco.
