The 2010 Middle East Schools Maths Challenge Ambassador School is St Christopher’s in Bahrain. We are very pleased to have the school join with us for this year’s competition. Here are a few words from John Roycroft, the Junior School Subject Leader for Maths…
“St Christopher’s school has been using Mathletics for three years. I have been really impressed with the way that Mathletics supports the learning that takes place in the classroom. We set units for homework each week to consolidate children’s understanding as well as encouraging students to visit Live Mathletics. There is also a Mathletics trophy for each year group which is awarded to the class which has achieved the highest number of certificates.
Mathletics is very popular and provides useful information for the teacher to help assist children’s learning. We look forward to as many children as possible taking part in the Middle East Challenge!”
Look out for more news from St Christopher’s School during the competition!
