Summer’s out, school’s in, the Mathletics Summer Challenge resulted in a win!
The first of its kind, the Mathletics Summer Challenge was a free online competition spanning from June 29 to August 10 2015. It aimed to put an exciting focus on math and improve student engagement throughout the summer months. We are proud to announce that it was a success! Each week we saw superstar Mathletes battle it out on the Hall of Fame, patiently awaiting their final results. All that hard work paid off!
Congratulations to Stephen S from Bert Ambrose Elementary for taking the top spot in Canada! He finished the competition with a whopping 630,122 points. His results were so impressive that a local reporter from his city became interested in the Summer Challenge. Well done, Stephen! He will be the recipient of a trophy and a Mathletics gear package. We would also like to congratulate Rouel II P, Musaab H, Hassan S and Jonathan P for being part of the top 5 Mathletes to participate in the Summer Challenge.
Bert Ambrose Elementary in British Columbia rose to the top of the schools ranking within the Challenge with 5347 points, thus it will receive a $250 VISA gift card to be put towards a Mathletics party. Congratulations McKernan School, Ecole St. Gerard, Regina Christian School and Southpointe Academy for being part of the top 5 schools, they will receive digital Mathletics certificates and trophies!
