St Columba Anglican School shares their Summer Mathletics Challenge.

In the lead up to the school holidays, we’re excited by news from St Columba Anglican School. To keep kids engaged and excited in maths over the summer break they have organised a summer Mathletics challenge. What a great initiative to keep kids revising over the holidays!  They have a created Triple Challenge for kids to improve fluency with Live Mathletics, revise activities to achieve gold bars and weekly certificates.

The teacher behind the program Jaana Gray has kindly agreed to share their resources with the Mathletics community.  Have a look at the parent information letter, participation checklist and flyer/poster here:

Summer Mathletics Challenge Update from Jaana Gray

“We had 81 students participate.  Students spent a total of 142 hours and 24 minutes, completing 141,830 Activity Points and answering 29,453 Live Mathletics questions.  All participating students received a Participation Certificate at last week’s Assemblies and there were 3 winners chosen for each participating year group for each of the Challenge areas.”

Great work!
