We are now into Day Two of this year’s ASB Maths Challenge with students right across the country getting involved. There are only hours remaining until the end the event and excitement is building…

One of the NZ Challenge Team, Kiri, visited South Hornby School in Christchurch today to see how they were getting involved with this year’s event. Kiri says “the students here have seen some of their local schools appear on the challenge blog and have really laid down the gauntlet. They have challenged them to see who will be the top scoring school in Christchurch. The heat is on!”

Sounds like the heat is rising on South Island! The students will even be dressing as their avatars too – great idea guys! Check out these photos from today’s action at the school….
