What is your 2014 Reading Resolution?
Challenge yourself to be the best reader you can be!
At 3P Learning we love learning, and we are constantly driven to inspire students, teachers and parents to share the same love for learning that we have.
Reading is one of the best ways to learn – not only about English and literature, but about a whole range of content areas. This year we are challenging students, classes, families and entire schools to create a Reading Resolution. Creating a Reading Resolution is a great way to motivate students to achieve their own personal goals, as well as encourage them to continue to develop their reading skills.
Whether they are advanced readers or just starting out, love fiction or non-fiction, read lots or not much at all … it’s time to set a Reading Resolution to achieve before 2015.
Let’s get started!
1. Create your Reading Resolution
A Reading Resolution can be long or short, detailed or broad, individual or class, whatever it may be … get your students to challenge themselves!
Here are a few ideas to get them started:
- To read for an hour a day
- To finish the Hunger Games series
- To try new genres
- To read 20 books
- To improve my reading-aloud skills
2. Download your printable Reading Resolution certificates
We have custom-made Reading Resolution certificates for every student which they can fill in and sign as a reminder of their 2014 Reading Resolution!
3. Feature in the 3P Learning Reading Hall of Fame!
Send through a photo of your students with their certificates to firstname.lastname@example.org for their chance to be featured in the 3P Learning Reading Hall of Fame. Also, check out the Hall of Fame to gain some reading resolution inspiration!
