Day One of this year’s ASB Maths Challenge is underway with students right across the country getting involved. We are already hearing some fantastic stories from schools about how they are taking part – keep them coming in guys!

The NZ Challenge Team this morning visited a local school to Challenge HQ – St. Joseph’s School in Whakatane. Students in Room 4 (years 5 & 6) were hard at work earning points and beating their high scores. It really looks like the students there will be making a bid for the Hall of Fame  – will they make it? We will find out at the end of tomorrow!

Check out these photos from today’s action at the school….
