Kalli and her Mum meeting Mr David Templeman, MLAHello students and lovers of learning! We have just returned from school holidays here in the West, and I, as well as all my school mates, am SO excited to be returning to school on World Literacy Day!

Just before the holidays began I was lucky enough to meet with our local Member of Parliament, Mr David Templeman MLA. I shared with him my excitement at being selected as an Ambassador for the WEG this year, and explained to him what that meant. He promised me he was going to take the amazing story of WEG to the West Australian parliament, and share it with all the politicians!

I believe education is the key to everything in life! This opportunity has allowed me to meet lots of other children, all around the world, who feel the same as I do – and that is very special!

I spent part of the school holidays practising for the Games, and hope everybody else took advantage of this, too!

I am really lucky to have a teacher who has supported and encouraged me throughout this journey – she has guided me and helped me make the most of this incredible opportunity provided by 3PL. She is really proud of me, even when I forget what I was going to say!

I would like to see as many students as possible take part in this challenge, as we can all make a difference to those less fortunate than us – those who don’t have access to education as readily as we do – sometimes we forget how lucky we are!

GO TEAM WA!!!!!
