Live Mathletics is a popular area of the program that is designed to increase students’ automacy in the core arithmetical areas. Students are matched against others of similar ability in real-time mathematical “races”.

Students have the choice to play any one of four game types…

  • World Challenge : students are matched against a real student from anywhere in the world
  • School Challenge : students are matched against a real student from their own school
  • Class Challenge  : students are matched against a real student from their own class
  • Computer Challenge : students play one-on-one against the computer

It is also possible for (school) students to use the “Who’s Online” panel on the left of the screen to select up to three other students (currently online and within their class) to challenge to a Live Mathletics game.
