Great news for users of Microsoft’s latest operating system – Mathletics can now be accessed and used on all Windows 8 devices.
The team at Mathletics is keen for the program to be available across all platforms and our hard-working development team have been hunched over their keyboards in recent months to make it so.
The team have been working behind the scenes for several weeks with developers at Microsoft to enable the use of Mathletics on even more devices. While Windows 8 does not support Flash-based websites, we are pleased to today announce that updates have been made to ensure all users with the Windows 8 operating system (desktop or tablet) can access the entire Mathletics website from their device*.
Check out more details here on Microsoft’s official blog. We are really pleased to be working closely with the team there to make Mathletics available to our global community.
The addition of Windows 8 follows recent news that Mathletics can now be accessed on iPad and Samsung Android tablets via our beautiful new student apps. Teachers can also access all their student details, results and even assign homework tasks via apps for iPhone and selected Android handsets. Check out our mobile page for more details.
*We advise that users with touch devices will have the best experience when an external keyboard is used, such as that available with the Microsoft Surface.
