3P Learning has received the highest accolade at the prestigious BETT Awards, being named as the 2014 recipients of the ICT Company of the Year award.
Delighted members of the 3P Learning team received the award at a glittering ceremony held in London as part of the week-long BETT event, the world’s leading and largest showcase of education technology solutions.
The BETT Awards are a celebration of the inspiring creativity and innovation that can be found throughout technology for education. The winners are seen to have excelled in ICT provision and support for schools with a clear focus on what works in the classroom. Each year, the awards endeavour to recognise, reward and promote this excellence.
Celebrations at the event were threefold. As well as receiving the award in the “ICT Company of the Year: £1m – £10m turnover” category, our flagship numeracy resource Mathletics was a finalist in the “International Digital Education Resource” category while our literacy resource Reading Eggs made the final shortlist for the “Primary Digital Content” award.
I am immensely pleased for the whole team that we have been recognised in this way by the hugely prestigious BETT Awards. To receive the top award (and be finalists in a further two!) is further recognition of our work to create world leading education resources. Our programs have received recognition at the BETT Awards now for each of the last six years, with multiple wins over that time, so I look forward to sharing this great news with our schools. We genuinely love learning – and we don’t do this for awards – but nominations like these are really the icing on the cake.
